BIO
Allegra Esclapon de Villeneuve (b. 1996, Vienna) is a multidisciplinary artist working with ceramics, sculpture, and live performance. Raised in Florence, Italy, she developed an early connection to clay and material-based practices.
She studied Costume Design for Theatre and Film at Wimbledon College of Arts (UAL) in London and later completed a Master’s degree in Art and Cultural Management in Barcelona. After working in ceramic production in Florence, she developed an experimental practice that combines sculpture with performative processes.
Her work uses the human body as a starting point to explore movement, memory, and emotional experience through abstracted forms. Alongside her sculptural work, she performs live sculpting sessions in which she responds to moving bodies in real time.
She has exhibited in Barcelona, Madrid, and New York, and currently lives and works in Madrid.
